Feodor Petrovich Riznischenko (1865-1922)

Fedor Petrovich Riznichenko – Russian and Ukrainian landscape painter, was a member of the St.Petersburg Society of Artists and a regular participant of the Peredvizhniki exhibitions. Riznichenko worked primarily as a landscape artist, following the tradition of the Russian lyrical landscape established by Alexei Savrasov and Isaac Levitan.

Throughout  his career he received several medal (bronze in 1887 / silver in 1889  again silver in1892

He frequently participated in academic exhibitions and exhibitions. In 1911 for their Autumn exhibition the Imperial Academy of arts hosted a solo exhibition of the works by Riznichenko.
