Le houblon arrangeant ses plumes

Une belle statue en bronze du XIXe siècle représentant un houblon sur un élégant socle, réalisée par Alfred Dubucand (1828-1894). Modèle rare. Vieille fonte d'une teinte claire bordant un jaune très clair, qui est presque la couleur du métal du bronze même. Comme souvent chez Dubucand, la sculpture du Houblon fait preuve d'un grand réalisme dans les moindres détails et est très finement ciselée.
